The name San Jose means that this lot was harvested during the month of March, in
honor of the day of San Jose.
From Cañas Verdes, this lot originates from a region we call “Nido,” which is short for
“Nest of the Quetzal” and sits at an elevation of 2,050 masl on the slopes of the Barú
Volcano. In the 2025 Best of Panama Competition, Nido won both first places in Geisha
Natural and Geisha Washed. This lot underwent a 48-hour cold-temperature
fermentation and was dried in our climate-controlled room.
